AceTech Ontario is a close-knit group of Technology CEOs & COOs, all of whom have been qualified to join and bring a great deal of value and experience to the table. Our Eligibility Criteria is designed to ensure the best ongoing experience for all our members. During the application process, each applicant will be contacted by a Board Member to learn more about them and their business. It is important that AceTech works with each applicant to ensure that we find the right fit between the new member and their roundtable group.
CEO Eligibility Criteria Membership in AceTech Ontario is restricted to the Presidents or CEOs of Technology Companies whose revenue stream is primarily based upon intellectual property, or a Technology Services company for whom most of its services are driven by 3rd party product or IP (implementation and support). In addition, strong preference is given to those who; • Are reporting to a Board of Directors (or an Advisory Board) • Have Annual Revenues in excess of $2M and growing (Service companies require $5 million in revenue or greater with at least two executive managers. (Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, etc) • All new members must be endorsed by an existing member.
COO Eligibility Criteria Membership is restricted to the COOs/Presidents of Technology Companies whose revenue stream is primarily based upon intellectual property, or a Technology Services company for whom most of its services are driven by 3rd party product or IP (implementation and support). In addition, strong preference is given to those who; • Are responsible for the general management and operations of their companies and who have multiple functional areas reporting in to them • Are reporting directly to a CEO or Board of Directors • Have Annual Revenues in excess of $5M and growing (COOs of significantly larger companies will form a second roundtable) 4. All new members must be endorsed by an existing member.
Exceptions can sometimes be made to the above criteria, for high-growth, investor-funded companies or based on a CEO’s or COO's previous experience or other special circumstances. If you feel an exception should be made in your case based on your record of success or specific situation, please contact us and apply. We will put you in touch with one of our board members to meet and discuss your eligibility. All membership applications go through our Board of Directors for approval.
A strict code of confidentiality must also be upheld by all members.
Once a CEO or COO becomes a member of AceTech Ontario, we strongly encourage them to also sign up members of their Executive Team. Giving their team the same access to a peer group to discuss best practices and overcoming challenges in the industry is one of the most affordable ways to ensure your business becomes more competitive. Roundtables are available for CFOs/Financial Professionals, Sales Professionals, Marketing Professionals, HR Professionals, in-house Counsel, Customer Success Professionals and CTO/Product Management Professionals of our member companies.
